Statutory Notification: Processing Your Credit Information

Dear User,

Experian Information Services (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. ("Experian") is a credit reporting agency that is regulated under the Credit Reporting Agencies Act 2010. Experian is part of a group of companies, whose parent company is Experian Plc, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange (EXPN). We are the global leader in providing data, analytical, marketing and credit services to organizations and consumers to help them manage the risk and make every day commercial and financial decisions.


In accordance with Section 23 of the Credit Reporting Agency Act 2010 ("CRA"), Experian hereby informs you that:

  1. Your credit information is collated and processed by Experian, including your identity number and address, business directorship and shareholdings (if any), litigation information such as bankruptcy or legal suits (if any), credit payment information from trade credit grantors (if any) and information captured from third parties including but not limited to government and statutory bodies, Angkatan Koperasi Kebangsaan Malaysia Berhad (ANGKASA), Central Credit Reference Information System (CCRIS), Dishonoured Cheques (DCHEQS) from Bank Negara Malaysia, commercial banks, investment banks, insurance companies, development banks, cooperative banks, stockbrokers, payment systems issuers, licensed moneylenders, landlords, trading and commercial companies, clubs, cooperatives, employment agencies, professionals e.g. lawyers, accountants, property valuers, public domains, etc.

  2. Your credit information is processed for purposes of providing credit report.

  3. Your credit information may be disclosed to third parties who obtained your consent for such disclosure and who may require your report for various purposes including, opening of account, assessing your application for credit facilities, extension of credit or loans, review of credit lines extended or review of account relationship which may be done from time to time, hire-purchase/leasing/rental contracts, property or equipment purchases, factoring, insurance, provision of services, job employment, legal documentation, etc.

  4. Some credit information requested may be obligatory or voluntary for you to supply. You also have a choice to limit the processing of your credit information, including the credit information relating to other persons who can be identified from your credit information. Where your credit information is considered obligatory and you fail to provide or choose to limit the processing of such credit information, it may affect your eligibility to receive certain product/services from Experian and/or third parties who requested from Experian your credit information.

  5. You may access you credit information by purchasing your credit report from Experian. For any inquiries or complaints in respect of your credit information, including a request to access or correct your credit information, you may contact Experian at:

Experian adalah bagian dari sekumpulan syarikat, yang syarikat induknya adalah Experian Plc, yang tersenarai di Bursa Saham London (EXPN). Maklumat kredit anda disusun dan diproses oleh Experian, termasuk nombor dan alamat pengenalan anda, pengarah perniagaan dan pegangan saham (jika ada), maklumat litigasi seperti muflis atau tuntutan undang-undang (jika ada), maklumat pembayaran kredit dari pemberi kredit perdagangan (jika mana-mana) dan maklumat yang diambil dari pihak ketiga termasuk tetapi tidak terhad kepada badan-badan kerajaan dan berkanun, Angkatan Koperasi Kebangsaan Malaysia Berhad (ANGKASA), Pusat Maklumat Rujukan Kredit Pusat (CCRIS), Pemeriksaan Tidak Disetujui (DCHEQS) dari Bank Negara Malaysia, bank perdagangan, pelaburan bank, syarikat insurans, bank pembangunan, bank koperasi, broker saham, penerbit sistem pembayaran, pemberi pinjaman wang berlesen, tuan tanah, syarikat perdagangan dan komersial, kelab, koperasi, agensi pekerjaan, profesional seperti peguam, akauntan, penilai harta tanah, domain awam, dan lain-lain.

  2. Maklumat kredit anda diproses untuk tujuan penyediaan laporan kredit

  3. Maklumat kredit anda mungkin diungkapkan kepada pihak ketiga yang memperoleh persetujuan anda untuk pendedahan tersebut dan yang mungkin memerlukan laporan anda untuk pelbagai tujuan termasuk, pembukaan akaun, menilai permohonan anda untuk kemudahan kredit, pemberian kredit atau pinjaman, peninjauan garis kredit diperpanjang atau mengkaji hubungan akaun yang mungkin dilakukan dari semasa ke semasa, sewa beli / sewa / kontrak sewa, pembelian harta tanah atau peralatan, pemfaktoran, insurans, penyediaan perkhidmatan, pekerjaan, dokumentasi undang-undang, dan lain-lain.

  4. Beberapa maklumat kredit diminta mungkin wajib atau sukarela untuk anda berikan. Anda juga mempunyai pilihan untuk menghadkan pemprosesan maklumat kredit anda, termasuk maklumat kredit yang berkaitan dengan orang lain yang dapat dikenal pasti dari maklumat kredit anda. Sekiranya maklumat kredit anda dianggap wajib dan anda gagal memberikan atau memilih untuk menghadkan pemprosesan maklumat kredit tersebut, ini boleh mempengaruhi kelayakan anda untuk menerima produk / perkhidmatan tertentu dari Experian dan / atau pihak ketiga yang meminta maklumat anda dari Experian.

  5. Anda boleh mengakses maklumat kredit anda dengan membeli laporan kredit anda dari Experian. Untuk sebarang pertanyaan atau aduan mengenai maklumat kredit anda, termasuk permintaan untuk mengakses atau membetulkan maklumat kredit anda, anda boleh menghubungi Experian di:
